ABOUT JOANNA SCHROEDER, APR

SCIENCE LOVER | CONTENT INVIGORATOR | BLOGGING MAVIN | GRAMMAR, AP & OXFORD ENTHUSIAST | BIBLIOPHILE

I began my long-term relationship with the environment at nine years old when persuading my class to protest the killing of harp seals. A few years later, my love of science was cemented when I won first place at the state science fair for my research on lead in collectable glassware.

I’ve been called a tree hugger, eco-freak and nerd. I embody all these things.

My first podcast was released in 2014 and first blog in 2009. I have been using social media and multimedia to tell stories since 2006 and ‘traditional’ media to help brands tell compelling stories since the mid 90s.

As humanity evolves, so does communication. Well, at least, to an extent. We have been telling stories since creation. How we tell those stories in an age of diminishing attention and education is changing. Knowing the best ways to engage and inform is my sweet spot.
